We have had a great week here - the Centre has been alive with kids and we've all had fun! A HUGE thank-you to all the instrutors, participants (and their parents!), supporters, and funders for taking part in this event. We will do this again next year and be on the lookout for special days at the Joggins Fossil Centre in July and August!
Here are some memories from the week that included gardening, cooking, baking, card-making, paleontology, and yoga:
The Joggins Fossil Cliffs are situated on the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. Inscribed on the World Heritage List in July 2008, the site is described as the "Coal-Age Galapagos". The awesome cliffs and award-winning visitor centre are the jewel in the world's Carboniferous Period crown

HOCKEY DAY IN JOGGINS!
Just a quick update that we are crossing our fingers tightly that the ice will freeze tonight and be safe to play on tomorrow. If not, then we will play street hockey in the Joggins Fossil Centre's parking lot. We will post bright yellow signs tomorrow morning in town to direct players and watchers to either the pond or the Centre. Either way, it will be a fun day here in Joggins!
Wild Caraway Restaurant is supplying delicious treats and hot chocolate, Sparky the Fire Dog will be making a special appearance, and there will be prizes for EVERYONE participating! This event is FREE!
